Some Interesting Real Estate Findings

The Center for Realtor Technology did a survey for the year 2006 and were able to find out the following:

  • 65% of respondents said that they have a website.
  • The largest quantity of respondents stated that they first got a website in the year 2000 or earlier. (24%)
  • 25% spent more than $1000 to build their website.
  • 24% spend over $1000 per year on their website.
  • 21% we’re satisfied with the amount of leads their site generates.

What does this mean?

  • Over 75% of respondents either built their website themselves or purchased a cookie-cutter template.
  • 35% of respondents aren’t taking the advantage of having a website.
  • 79% probably did not hire an online marketer to market their site online.
