What is Cross-Browser Compatibility?

Why is this a problem?

Each web browser likes to render a web page differently.  So for example, what looks fine in FireFox may look horrible in Internet Explorer.  Although there are web standards, some browser developers don’t follow them.  This is a headache many web designers face. (more…)

Apple’s Safari Browser Beta For Windows

Apple has announced the public beta release of Safari 3, the Apple-based web browser.  This beta version is different though, it will work on both a mac and a pc.  This news is great for web site designers who use Windows machines, because they can now test web sites on this Mac based browser with their own computer.

What is Social Networking?

Traditionally a social networking site can be seen as a website allowing you to socially link to different people based on interests, friends or schools/colleges. Theoretically, the links that social networking uses to connect people are unlimited; where you grew up, your job etc all could be included, however the main two remain – interests and friendship links.
