Website Process
Effective communication between the designer and the client is crucial when developing a new website. Many web design firms will fail in this area and the client will end up with a finished product that is unsatisfactory. Collins Internet has laid out the following process to ensure that everyone is on the same page throughout the phases of the project.
- Consultation - First we would go over every aspect of the project and create a proposal outlining the best solution. Once the proposal and scope of work are complete and approved, we will send you a contract agreement and request a 50% down payment to start the project.
- Mockup Design - Once the consultation has taken place and all questions have been asked, we will create a mockup of your homepage design. This will be in graphic form only. During this stage, you can critique and give feedback on what you like and what you want changed.
- Coding - Upon approval of the mockup, we will then proceed to converting the mockup to an actual web page.
- Review - Once the site is built, you will need to make a thorough review to address any last minute tweaks or changes. (Final payment must be made before the site can go live. #5)
- Go Live - After final approval has been made and the final payment has been received, your site will be uploaded to your domain name for the world to see.
- Ongoing Support - We believe that your site should get the best chances of success and we do not believe that our business relationship should end after your site is live. Please consider our website maintenance and search engine marketing services for best results.
